Hard work pays off for the entrepreneurial SA business.

The annual Caravan and Camping Industry Association of SA gala dinner is a night to celebrate our great industry and the people who contribute to it.

This year Friday Trailer Company was honoured for being the ‘Emerging Business of the Year for 2023.’ This was in recognition for notable contribution to the growth of the caravan and camping industry in SA.

I was so proud to be there and accept the award and thanked the association for their ongoing support to industry, and highlighted that manufacturing in SA is not dead. With smart and innovative manufacturing practices, anything is possible in our great state.

Friday Trailer Company was a dream that simmered and turned into plans. They turned into actions, which then multiplied into endless hours of hard work. This is now the amazing product and brand we know today. Friday has been fortunate enough to inspire a wonderful community and customer base that love and enjoy the product. To all of those people, we say a warm thank you.

So, the key message from Friday is – have a go in life. Dreams are sometimes scary and overwhelming, creativity is risky business, but don’t delay, take action, and chip away at them. Work hard toward them everyday, make some sacrifices and one day they will become something special.
